2025;
Here to thrive!

2024 for me was a huge year of growth. When I look back on it now, I see it through the lens of being out the other side and the achievements/positive things that came from it and I feel that’s how it may have looked externally.
Let me assure you, 2024 at times was as uncomfortable as being Lactose Intolerant at a cheese festival! Aaaannywaayyy you get the idea I hope.
I think one of the biggest areas of growth for me was mindset. I went through some really uncomfortable patches and had some hard lessons but ultimately it was the universe dealing me the cards I needed to get where I was going (I always forget this in the moment)!
Additionally, I think I’m finally finding my way back to me (more on this later). I’m definitely different but at my core “Cinda” is still there and she’s scrapped her way back to the surface and now can finally take a deep breath.
So I say to 2024- thanks for the lessons… (I think) but sayonara b*tch titties! Heading in to 2025 stronger, wiser & with better mindset and clear vision.
I imagine by now you are rolling your eyes and saying yea yea yea cool girlfriend, you and every other person on the internet but what does this all mean!? Well my friend, a few things but for now I have a little project for you.
Step 1- Time to reflect & then re-spark baby!!
I want you to grab a pen and paper and do the following:
Reflect- Take a look back at the last year and write down the following (I find looking through your camera roll/calendar helps):
Your 3 biggest highlights.
Your 3 biggest achievements or proudest moments.
Your 3 lowest points (After, I want you to look at this page, feel whatever it is that comes up, take a deep breath and then tear it up).
Re-spark- Time to light that fire inside you. Let’s get to what you want:
Write down 3 things you would like to do better this year.
3 things that bring you joy and fulfilment.
3 specific goals.
3 words you want to sum up this year.
The 4 Ps:
Purpose- Now with the above in mind, I want your to write down one sentence that describes your purpose for this year.
Passion- Now answer this. What is the thing you are most passionate about?
Priority- Now we all have the obvious priorities but I want you to go beyond that. For example a priority for me this year is my own wellbeing. What do you need to focus on?
Plan- Thinking about the other two Ps, I want you to think about how you make those things your reality. How will you incorporate them in to your every day? I recommend building 4-5 daily habits that you will commit to that align with this.
E.g. for my wellbeing example above it could be making daily habits that align with that such as specific hydration goals or making a list of health appointments and actually scheduling them in!
Step 2- The ins and outs:
Here we are going to start cutting things loose (kinda like that toxic ex-boyfriend).
In the interest of being transparent… here are some of mine:
Out- Rushing through life In- Being in control of my time & being deliberate with it.
Out- Mum guilt. In- Making myself a priority.
Out- Not being present. In- Spending quality time connecting with my family and loved ones.
Out- Perfectionism/ being In- Being ok when things don’t go to plan & go too hard on myself. with the flow more.
*Full disclosure, it is the 8th Jan and I have at times already dropped the ball on some of these however that’s ok. It’s about setting intentions and constantly reminding yourself of them- not being perfect (see what I did there *wink)!
I’ll leave you with this one question and thought…
What do you want your life to look like?
Now take that, hold it close, cherish it, protect it and take small steps every day working towards it.
The mindset from here on out is: If it doesn’t align or doesn’t bring you a step closer to that goal; then it doesn’t take up space in your life.
If you try this out or any of this resonates with you I’d love to hear about it! Please feel free to share, comment or even share your own vision board & tag me on Instagram @bykressinda.
